How do I know my organiser is trustworthy?

We know all our organisers personally, and we work closely with them to make sure you have a memorable and safe experience. For first-time organisers, we will meet in person and oftentimes personally go on an adventure with your organiser-to-be. We also provide ongoing feedback to our existing organisers whenever we see an area for improvement.

What you can do: Check out the organiser’s reviews by other users on their profile page. Meet with your organiser before you trip.

How you can help others: Leave an honest review on the adventure page after you return from your adventure!

Can I expect my itinerary to go 100% as stated in the description?

Your organiser will work hard to make everything go according to plan. That being said, our adventures are off-the-beaten-track. This means, don’t be surprised by the occasional workaround or change of plan, it is part of the fun. Bring good spirits, relax, and help everyone have a good time.

I can’t go. How do I cancel?

You may cancel anytime by clicking on the orange ‘see you there’ button on your adventure page. See “what is your refund policy” to check whether you are eligible for a refund.

What is your refund policy?

Full refunds are offered for any adventure that is canceled, regardless of the reason for the cancellation. If you, the traveler, decide to pull out of the adventure before it is confirmed you will receive a full refund. Refunds are not possible once the adventure has been confirmed. This is because your organiser will already have transferred the funds to the local operators to secure all the necessary logistic arrangement such as hotel, transport, tour guide, activities, etc pertaining to the trip, so we can no longer provide a refund.

However, if a confirmed adventure is canceled then you will receive a full refund.

All of the above are not applicable for force majeure for payment made from 10 February 2020 onward.

What’s the difference between an Organiser and a Travel Buddy?

If you travel with a travel buddy, you are responsible for booking all your accommodation and transport by yourself. A travel buddy must not ask you to transfer money to him/her or otherwise arrange transportation or accommodation for you (otherwise he/she would require a Travel Agent license). Travel buddies travel in very small groups of 2 to 4 people.

If you travel with an organiser, you can expect a unique curated experience without any of the organisational hassle – your organiser has you covered with a well thought-out itinerary, and she/he will book accommodation, transport, and activities for you. All organisers are registered under our Travel Agent license number 027937.
