- spending a night at caravanserai (road Inn) on the Silk Road, riding with camel, jeep safari in the Iranian desert, walking on golden sand dunes upon an infinite horizon while meditating with the wind and star gazing in the vast open space at night. What a place to be for an ultimate desert experience in one of the ancient desert cities of Isfahan province.

One of the most beautiful parts of the Iranian deserts with Autumn as the best times due to dryness of the path, mild weather and the lack of insects.

Some bird watchers even found interesting species of birds here; others can also look for some plants. Get to see whatever one expect to see in a desert here....sandhills, camels, caravansary (desert fort), and all types of desert textures and pavements all together in one site!.

- travelling to Isfahan, one of the most beautiful cities due to its beautiful hand-painted tiling and magnificent public square. Its profusion of tree-lined boulevards, Persian gardens and important Islamic buildings gives it a visual appeal unmatched by any other Iranian city, and the many artisans working here underpin its reputation as a living museum of traditional culture. Walking through the historic bazaar, over the picturesque bridges and across the Unesco-listed central square are sure to be highlights of your holiday.

Isfahan is also well known for 11 historical bridges that manifest the archeological styles evolving during the Safavid era. Serve as both a bridge and a dam (or a weir), it links the Khaju quarter on the north bank with the Zoroastrian quarter across the Zayandeh River. The bridge also served a primary function as a building and a place for public meetings. This structure originally was designed with artistic tile works and paintings serving as a tea house.  In the center of the structure is a pavilion where Shah Abbas would have once sat, admiring the views.

Today, remnants of a stone seat are all that remains of the king’s chair. The bridge highlights one of the finest examples of Persian architecture at the height of Safavid cultural influence.

And the Shah Mosque of Isfahan is one of the everlasting masterpieces of architecture in Iran. It is registered, along with the Naghsh-e Jahan Square, as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its construction began in 1611, and its splendor is mainly due to the beauty of its seven-colour mosaic tiles and calligraphic inscriptions. The mosque is one of the treasures featured on Around the World in 80 Treasures presented by the architecture historian Dan Cruickshank.

Coming to the cultural crossroads of Caravanserai in Izadkhast citadel, an important station of the trade route showcasing ancient castle fortress offering traders and travelers a place to rest before resuming their often dangerous journey.
Izadkhast citadel caravanserai is one of 999 such inns that were built during the reign of Shah Abbas I to provide facilities to travelers. The first caravanserais in Iran were built when the Achaemenid Empire (circa 550–330 BC) ruled Persia. Along with the development of road systems and the increase in the number of travelers and merchants during this time, these old roadside inns increased and flourished along the trade routes of the old Silk Road.
