Hi all! Looking to gather interest for a Mount Kinabalu climb in March because some have been asking me. It is the last month before the new rates and prices kick in, as prices always go up, never down =(

Mount Kinabalu is an extremely popular climb but it is very regulated. Kinabalu to me has always been too expensive. There are limited permits per day and the permits need to be booked in advance while the 2D1N climb can only be booked 1 month in advance.

Most of the people book the "via Ferrata" option in order to guarantee the slots. There are 2 "Via Ferrata" options, WTT (Walk the Torque) and Low's Peak Circuit (LPC).

I am looking at a short trip focusing on summiting Mount Kinabalu "via Ferrata". I was initially looking at LPC but the price difference seems ridiculous, so I think WTT is the better option here.

Do note that there is a cut-off point for the briefing for Ferrata (so it means we have to be fit/faster). Also, in the case of bad weather and the Ferrata option is called off, we won't get a refund. The minimum age for WTT is 10 years old.

I am looking at a group size of 10 -14 pax.

I will set up a WhatsApp group and organize a pre-trip briefing session/trainings!
