This Eastern Siberia is hailed as the "Paris of Siberia". To make it even more magical, visit during the winter and you will get to experience the frozen lake in its mystic of white snow. Despite the low temperature, we have a slew of activities waiting for you to get your adrenaline pumping and mind fascinated with its natural beauty. This tour offers an experience that you cannot find elsewhere along with a bunch of friends who will shiver and have a ton of fun and adventure with you.

Here, we can find shamanic poles near Shaman's rock on Olkhon island. Shamanism still plays its role in this area. If you travel back in time you may discover, that Shamanism was the dominant pre-religious practice during the Palaeolithic.

We will also get to visit a local village during our trip and meet a Siberian shaman.

One of the biggest highlights of the trip is trekking across the ice lake. We will get a chance to explore the beauty of walking on a frozen lake. There is 1m of ice separating you and the water. This will be your best opportunity to be walking on water.

For the last 3 places, it will be at SGD $2,600. If all 11 placed are booked, I will rebate $100 for the last 3 tickets. 

For single supplement, the top is $500.

Air tickets will cost around $1,100 as of 7th October 2018 with a transit at Bangkok. This is based on a flight to Bangkok via Scoot and S7 airline from Bangkok to Irkutsk. The transit is about 4 hours.

Itinerary

Day 1
Departure from Singapore, Transit in Bangkok and Arrival in Irkutsk at 1145pm.
Accommodation at Irkutsk  

Day 2
Travel to Listvyanka, visit a wooden architecture museum of Taltsy, dogsledding, snowmobiles. Fish and crafts market. 
Breakfast and Lunch with Baikal Fish included
Accommodation at Irkutsk  

Day 3
Travel to Olkhon island, stop at ust-orda ethnic museum, meeting with a shaman and visiting a local village.
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner provided
Accommodation at Khuzhir
 
Day 4 
UAZ tour exploring northern area of Olkhon island (Kharantsy cape, cape of three brothers, cape khoboy).
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner provided

Day 5
UAZ tour exploring southern area of Olkhon island (Ogoy island, Oltrek island, frozen bubbles lake). Ice fishing.

Travel back to Irkutsk. Irkutsk City tour.
Breakfast and Lunch provided

Day 7
Ice trekking across the lake. Travel to Arshan.

Day 8 
Tour around Arshan and Tunka valley. Swimming in hot springs, ice walk in frozen Kyngyrga river canyon, visit a Buddhist temple, visit a satellite station. Travel to Baikal nature reserve in Tankhoy.

Accommodation at Baikalsk town 

Day 9 
Hunter ski hiking, visit Baikal visitors center. Travel to Irkutsk.
Breakfast provided.
Accommodation at Irkutsk. 

Day 10 
Depart from Irkutsk, Transit in Bangkok, Arrive in Singapore
Breakfast before the flight

Irkutsk: 3-star Hotel, twin ensuite
Khuzhir, Arshan: Guesthouse, twin ensuite
Bailkalsk: Wooden Chalet with warm facilities or Twin room (if we book early enough)
