“Hi, it's us, Georgina and Lee Ling”
Are you intrigued by 5000 years of Egyptian history? And yet could not make sense what happened exactly over the 5000 years and would like to know how the ancient Egyptians has shaped our modern world and pouring over history books is not your cup of tea. If you are, then join us on the journey to Egypt, discover and learn ancient Egypt from the local Egyptologist as the tour guide.
At a glimpse, this is what we will be experiencing:
We have designed this trip to be an immersive experience, as such there will be some interaction learning from the expert and for us to ask as many questions as possible. If time permits, maybe we can learn how to write and read hieroglyphics.
We will start our journey with a visit to the Egyptian museum, Egypt's most extensive museum of ancient antiquities. Seeing the famous Tut Mask and the mummies.
A visit to Egypt would not be complete without a visit to the Sphinx and the Giza.
Sphinx and the Giza
Sakkara Pyramid, one of the oldest in Egypt.
For the next 3 days, we would take a cruise on a Nile river starting from Aswan down to Luxor, visiting the Philae temple, Sobek temple, and Horus temple.Sunset in Luxor Egypt
Philae temple complex was dismantled and relocated to nearby Agilkia Island as part of the UNESCO efforts to save Philae Temple. Find out why Sobek and Horus temple is a double temple and the stories behind this 2 enemies.
Then we make our way to Hatshepsut temple, the temple that honours Queen Hatshepsut, one of the greatest leader of Egypt that is rarely mentioned.
We then make our way to Hurghada, riding the ATV enjoying the sunset view of the desert and swimming with the wild dolphins.
Complete our visit to Egypt to the Khan Khalili Bazaar and old Cairo, giving a glimpse into what medieval markets and times once were like in Egypt.
