This Banff, Jasper, and Lake Louise tour is a part of the Epic Canadian Rockies Adventure 2019 tour which runs from 3 to 16 Aug 2019.

This page is to provide information on the itinerary, cost, and other information related to this shortened version of the Epic Canandian Rockies Adventure Tour 2019.
The Banff, Jasper, and Lake Louise tour runs from 3rd to 11th August and follows the same itinerary as the Epic Canadian Rockies Adventure tour up till 11th August - when you will board your flight home. The rest of the tour participants who sign up for the Epic tour will continue to tour Drumheller and then to Waterton National Park for another 5 days.

COST
The cost for this Banff, Jasper, and Lake Louise tour is currently at

CAD 2,344.55 or the equivalent in SGD 2,391 per person

This cost per person is for the current group of 8 persons that has been confirmed.

For a group of 12 persons: CAD 2,193.65 or SGD 2,238 per person.
 
Group of 11 persons: CAD 2,236.50 / SGD 2,281
Group of 10 persons: CAD 2,288 / SGD 2,334
Group of 9 persons: CAD 2,321.15 / SGD 2,368

The cost is in Canadian Dollars and it is based on the exchange rate of 1.02

Payment and Exchange Rate Reconciliation
Once payment has been collected, it will be transferred to my Canadian bank account. Based on the exchange rate that the amount was received, we will calculate what the difference is from the intended payment. This will mean either a top-up in Canadian dollars by you, or a refund in Canadian dollars by me. The top-up or refund is in cash and it is to be made on the first day of the tour.

Currently, we have 8 persons confirmed for this tour and the tour is confirmed to proceed as planned.


The cost of the tour includes:
- Return airport transfers and all other transfers during the whole tour
- All accommodations during the tour which can consist of the following: hotels, chalets/bungalows or
similar, hostels, AirBnB, cabins/lodges.
- Rooms: twin or triple-sharing; 3 to 8-person shared chalets/bungalows or cabins/lodges with 1 to 4
rooms, or AirBnB with 1 to 4 rooms.
- National Park Pass – entry permit to Banff, Jasper, Waterton Lakes, and all other National Parks
- Banff Gondola ride to Sulphur Mountain including Lunch
- Cave and Basin National Historic Site tour
- Icefields Parkway sightseeing tour.
- Maligne Valley Tour with Hike
- Edith Cavell Hike
- Visit to lakes in Jasper
- Visit to lakes in Banff
- Lake Louise and Moraine Lake Tour
- All other sightseeing during travel by van within Banff, Lake Louise, Icefields Parkway, and Jasper

The cost of the tour excludes:
- Return air tickets from Singapore to Calgary
- Travel insurance
- eTA fees (Electronic Travel Authorization – a requirement for entry into Canada for Visa-exempt
foreign nationals)
- ESTA fees (if transit is in USA, you need to apply for ESTA to go through USA)
- meals not specified in itinerary
- optional tours
- personal expenses, tips, souvenirs, and any rental of personal clothing or equipment

At the end of the tour,. I think we got more than what we bargained for.. perhaps that is the beauty of small private tour group. We can have options. The amazing Bolivia salt flat Uyuni with so many untold secrets.. Felt truly blessed to have visited this place. Oh.. we missed out the Inca hiking activity when we booked the tour and realised it only at subsequent tour briefing. It was tough, but feel great overcoming the challenge with 8 hours hike. We have fun together as a group tackling this task. We squeezed a lot more much waking time. During the tour. Evident in total of more than 17 flights just to shorten travelling time. We have food (both good & bad), interesting experience, and great fun as a group of six adventurers and one Daniel Goh. Especially with our exchange rate. I think most of us will find it very hard to have a similar holiday trip for a long time to come. It is really one of its kind with good memories to last for a pretty long time. As least for me, I feel very blessed to have my bucket list with South America fulfilled in 2019 in such fun, such fashion and such great companions started off as total strangers and we can be crazy as children in play.
